I'd suggest twitter. Had an easy go of it both last week and this week. Just search turnips, don't use any of the main hashtags or anything. Found someone last week at ~640, DM'd them and they got back to me like an hour later because they had so many requests. Today found people at ~540 and ~580, both super quick and easy.

Most people are expecting some kind of tip, which I'm more than happy to give. I've seen anything from a Nook Miles Ticket to like 10% commission, but most just say anything appreciated. If it's an over 500 buy price I'm making a ton off it, so leaving a couple bags of 99k bells is nothing.

I've seen a handful of people online mention visitors trashing their islands or making people tip before selling and then disconnecting them, but I've had nothing but positive experiences so far.

Also, my hot item is the ironwood kitchenette. They're definitely fucking with me because I want one so bad but don't have the one recipe.

Bought 1.2 million bells worth of turnips at 92 each so far my prices have been in steady decline from 50 to 35.

I've made a huge mistake.

Just find someone online. Search "turnip" on twitter and literally dozens and dozens of people come up with prices over 500. Drop one a message and bingo. Easy to buy the turnips on the Sunday and sell on the Monday that way.

 

If anyone has even decent turnip prices soon, like, over 150 or so, I’d appreciate it lol. Getting desperate at 41 over here and they keep going down.

my turnip prices this morning are at 154, what a shame i didn't buy any.... (though they WERE selling at 104 anyway)

 

It looks like I might be having the camel hump trend for my prices. My turnip prices jumped up last night but then dipped this morning so here’s hoping I have a big jump tomorrow afternoon.

 

based from experience the best way to manage this is to have only 3 people enter your island at any given time, especially if people are planning multiple trips.
