given the amount of posters in this thread, i feel every week we should have 1 person with a good turnip price. i‘ll definitely post here if i do. also ive been playing since New Leaf (and i played that game to death) so I kind of already know what to do. i don’t plan on expanding soon. big rooms make me anxious - a mistake last game I would not repeat here - haha, so it’s not like this money is going to help that much anyway
i bought mine at 97, the week before i think was 110. if you have friends you talk to regularly i recommend getting into turnips. this thread is actually what makes me more confident about investing since there’s a lot of us here, meaning more chances of good prices.
I've mostly focused on expanding my house before doing much else, even though I lack furniture haha. And yea, I'm definitely going to keep my eyes peeled here for anyone with a good deal on turnips. :P
I’ll be ready for this event to end so every conversation with islanders isn’t about the eggs coming out of rocks
Is anyone missing bunny day diy recipes? I have extra for the vanity, wreath, rug, and festive balloons
Flick came but I hardly have any good bugs on my island, having all those monarch butterflies saved up for him was a blessing.
There's clearly no rhyme or reason as to what villagers want to leave your island. I complain to Isabelle about PomPom every single day. I never talk to her. I hit her with my net all the time. Then today Prince says he's thinking about leaving. I talk to him every day and give him presents and everything. Never complained about him. Frustrating.
What triggers the option to give the villagers gifts? is it just them being there long enough? cause I have five villagers, and the 1st-3rd ones to move in and the 5th I can give gifts to first thing in the morning, but not the fourth? Do I just keep talking to them?
From what I've read complaining to Isabelle only resets that villager's custom preference/costume. So if you gave a neighbor an ugly costume or input a response that you didn't like (ie what's your favorite drink and your wrote uranus) it would be erased. Like Orca said, ignoring seems to be the best option AND talking to all the other neighbors. I haven't made it work but I'd like to think I'm getting there.
