Bought my wife a switch lite today (can’t believe I was able to find one) so that she can join the sweet island life
at what point does Flick show up on your island? i have a bunch of Emperor Butterflies and i'm not sure if i should just sell them now
Flick showed up in the morning , and stayed until like 4AM. He randomly showed up to my island on Monday.
Oh shit yeah got my island designer app! also the first KK Slider concert was cool was surprised at the credit roll during the song...are they trying to say that this is where they feel the real game begins or that it’s somewhat of an ending for a major chapter of the game? Idk
a bit of both most likely, AC has never had anything like that iirc (or ive never gotten to that point) KK is hands down my favorite AC character and it’s not even close, so I’m excited to see him
once a week, he’ll show up in the morning and stay til 5AM do there’s no worry of missing him. Might as well just keep em in storage and get the extra 2K per Emperor assuming you have the room
everyone hating on eggs, but earlier today i was digging and found a fossil and i said out loud, "ugh not an egg"
I don't know anything about this game at all except that it's super popular. I only have a Switch because of my love for Zelda and Mario. Should I buy this? Can someone tell me what all the fuss is about?
if you hate capitalism but also love animals then this is the game for you because you are a capitalist with animal friends
if anyone wants to write a blurb/short upsell for the game i’d be happy to post it in the original post
There is virtually no way you’ll regret it. You build an island from scratch, design it how you like, make friends and invite them to your island to live and build a community from the ground up while fishing and catching bugs to get currency. As your place gets bigger, the customization and design capabilities are basically limitless and it never gets boring. I can’t imagine being stuck inside without this game
i think it’s becoming even more popular for a number of reasons: 1. a very devoted fanbase, we’ve been waiting for this game for almost 8-9 years and after several bamboozling Nintendo Directs. naturally the fans are pretty loud on the internet 2. the quarantine, since a lot of people are at home and this game is a massive timesink it fits 3. it’s an incredible game, and i don’t think there’s anything like it?? (Stardew is more like Rune Factory and Harvest Moon don’t @ me) animal crossing’s appeal is its slowness imo. super calming. you start out in an island with a tent, and then it’s really up to you what you wanna do - collect fish, collect bugs, plants trees and flowers, grow fruits, make and or design furniture, decorate your home, expand your home, design shirts, be bffs with adorable animals, socialize with other players, get involved in a fake stock market related to turnips, send mails, join in both seasonal and randomly generated in-game events
