i planted like a fuck ton of trees on like Day 2 of having the game and they still are just little shrubs - i water them too. what actually gives.

 

Make sure they’re not too close to a wall or some other object, they need a little bit of space to grow.

WTF... the new house plot I put up yesterday sold before I could find someone I wanted.

I just went to an island to go looking for a good villager and there was no one there. Come home and find out it got sold to some shitty octopus? That's 3 villagers that have moved in without me choosing them now. Pretty upset about this. There better be a sure fire way to remove villagers soon...
