A very fun fact I just found out is that the insects at the museum actually go to sleep at night. I'm in the butterfly room and they are all chilling on the flowers instead of flying around.

Got the sturgeon like five nights ago and after hours and hours of cliff river fishing, I finally conquered the mighty stringfish tonight. And without bait lol.
i'm giving up hope. maybe i'll catch it next year. i DID sell all the other dozens of fish i caught plus a ton of clams/stuff from the shore and now have over $100k bells to pay off my loans when the resident services reopens tomorrow! also; does anyone know if the ironwood dresser and cutting board comes from a diy recipe or if you buy them? i have the recipe for an Ironwood kitchenette but i don't have those two things to complete it.

Just drained so much bait at the top of my waterfall and even made a crafting bench up there for when my fishing pole breaks, but no luck on the string fish
The sense of relief I have after catching the last fish leaving in March has been immense haha. Also sold 19 drinking fountains as the hot buy on my SO’s island and I had enough to pay off my new bridge. Lots of work to do but my island is beginning to thrive!
So I understand why Nintendo needs to downscale to 720p in handheld mode, but I really wish they'd at least upscale screenshots to 1080p. I've noticed ever since uploading them to Twitter. Frustrating to see super choppy edges taking a screenshot but then looking pretty smooth when I do it on the TV heh.
Hell yeah, successfully turned an island into a spider spawn. Going to make a lot of money tomorrow combined with a ton of fish I have stacked outside the store
Just went to an island and took nothing in hopes of making a tarantula island. Was able to craft everything I need but it wasn’t the right type of island. I was able to catch one but mainly tiger beetles were spawning even though there were no stumps or flowers.
