Tarantula farming seems so tedious, especially when Emperor butterflies seem to be pretty plentiful at half the value I’m excited to find one organically but doubt I’ll put any time into manipulating an island to spawn them That being said I just walked up to a big shadow on my island and caught a Sturgeon lol
they only come out at night (between 7 PM and 4 AM) and they are worth a lot of bells once it's summer time it'll be scorpions
just earlier today i spent heaven knows how long trying to catch a sturgeon or a stringfish with no luck. like, i'm ONLY catching dabs, sea bass, and loach on a couple occasions i had a largish fish at the river mouth bite on my lure and then almost IMMEDIATELY escaped, right as i was pressing A. and then my fishing rod broke. and then i logged off and took an angry nap.
Busy day tomorrow. New residence services building will be ready so i'm gonna play around with that a bit. Then gonna spend the day collecting clams to go Sturgeon/Stringfish hunting at night lol
Does anyone know if this is a new aspect of the game? It really doesn’t make sense to charge you AND not let you get the money until the next day. The one incentive to accepting a lower price is that you would need the money right then. In which case you can do what I did a couple days ago and time skip backwards a few hours to pay off the home loan. Without that desire to have that money that instant - a desire that is not rewarded - why would you not just hoard stuff until morning? Really dumb system
After several relatively uneventful days I feel like it’s starting to really pick up again with the new Res Services building and being able to really go buckwild on renovating the island and building things. does anyone know how long it takes you to reach the “end” - by which I mean you reach at point at which the game has nothing “new” to introduce, outside of seasonal events?
