Somehow missed this. Is Panda Bear no longer in the band? Because he debuted a new song with Avey a couple nights ago

 

they constantly rotate

for example, Deakin is absent in MPP and only PB and AT recorded Sung Tongs

 

Ah, I thought Sung Tongs was just because they were the only two in the band at that time and that the Deakin thing was circumstantial

 

well it does depend on the cirumstances

but it’s not like they need everyone to be around to record - it’s loosey goosey

Yeah i got to song like 8 and called it quits. Such a shame.

 

This ended up being background music for me. Tried to give it my full attention but I drifted off. After hearing Hair Cutter I figured that’d be the case. I’ll probably listen again but only with the visuals this time.

 

Yeah this isn't very good as a standalone album. Can't speak for the difference with visuals however.

 

Watched the audiovisual album. Quite mesmerizing, makes me appreciate the music more. Unfortunately I still don't see myself revisiting this anytime soon. But the video itself was quite neat.
