I still don't actually know what To The Stars... does

 

I think the Entertainment 720 reference for To The Stars is spot on hahaha.

 

I do worry about Tom getting bagged for fraud.

They just posted on IG that the album is likely coming in the Spring and they have shows booked for later in the year.

 

I still think the album will likely come out during the Summer to tie in with the shows towards the backend of the year (providing that happens). Such a weird album roll out but I wouldn't expect anything less from Tom at this point. Can't believe Rebel Girl came out last April!

I'm catching up here, but damn that losing the 3 TTS guys. I really hope it wasn't any political divide type of thing. do we know those guys' political stance? (not that it matters with UFO stuff. I was happy to see that bring folks together, but still...seems Tom has gotten extra political since, ya kno?)

Speaking of this, Tom's Twitter recently has made me pretty happy lol. Didn't realize how many MAGA people he would have in his replies though

 

Tom has been political for as long as I can remember, I believe he even made public appearances for John Kerry back in the day? I think Twitter being such a popular platform magnifies every celebrity’s involvement, but Tom has definitely been vocal with his support for left wing politics for a long time.

 

Ugh! And then you have Twitter today. I'm exhausted!

 

Rise Records tweeted out they got to listen to two new songs. One can only dream we'll hear them soon too.

 

Also saw someone comment that AVA is basically a clothing brand that puts out songs every couple years and that really made me LOL. Sadly true at this point.

 

Haha it really is. Solid clothing though.

I went into the TTS store a few weeks ago and they had books, tons of clothing, and zero vinyl haha.

 

Pretty amazing that the new AVA album is taking just as long as it did for the Neighborhoods album to come out.

 

I’m kind of just... hoping for the best at this point. Idk.

 

I still hope it’s very new wave/post-punk sounding like Rebel Girl and Kiss & Tell are.
