I criticized Tom last week for trying to potentially profit off the pandemic with his fan base, but I’ll stand corrected. Good for them.
Tom's post on his page hyping it says it's not the single for the album and it's just a song for this cause. I'm actually surprised they managed to finish a song they're willing to not even put on there. I always got the vibe they were struggling to write and get things done. Nice gesture though.
I didn’t notice that in his post. After reading it now, it’s still a little unclear. He said it is not the single for the album, not that it will not be on the album.
Usually the artist who premieres on a song on Beats1 has a little interview too. Maybe Tom will clarify then if that happens ?
Yeah that’s true actually. He said it’s a “bridge” to it so it’s either a taste of the album or something extra to tide you over til it comes out. I guess he just wanted to be clear he wasn’t using the situation for promo.
I was looking at that cameo site for the fuck of it, Tom spent 99 bucks for Andy Dick If anybody wondered lol
I predict it being very radio friendly especially if it's a single for charity. Keep us updated in the thread I don't have Apple Music.
Very inoffensive track; mid-tempo, some decent guitar riffing, some notable AVA synth sounds, and a large Tom chorus
First listen thoughts: Production on it is very good maybe too good in parts. Lyrics are okay nothing outstanding. Out of the 3 'new' AVA songs this would be my least favourite so far but I could see it being a grower.
feels very like something from the LOVE albums which is probably fitting also "yeah I'M shiioooouure.. its for meee"
Very Love PT II-esque and I don't hate it. The production is great. Tom's vocals in the beginning reminds me of I'm Lost Without You.
