Anyone know if I Don’t Know How... and Say Hi... have ever played a show together? I’ve always loved their back to the future themed band names. More of that please.

 

Maybe I've been underestimating them, but I've been surprised to see how high AVA is being billed on these festivals.

 

If AVA added Mercenaries to their setlist, I’d pay an insane amount of money just to hear it live.

 

So technically LOVE was released today, 10 years ago.

I feel like this is one of those albums that make me feel very old.

 

Lol I remember being so excited that I sent all my Facebook friends the download link. Crazy it’s been 10 years. I still remember the night I heard it

 

Most downloaded album ever......apparently haha.

The Love double album grew on me a ton over years. Especially Part II. Both parts have aged incredibly well. The production is great.

 

Remember that day vividly. Was a sophomore in high school, I think it was a Friday? and that day at school DRAGGGGGGGED.

I was in peak AVA hype at that time and anticipated this album so god damn much haha. I loved it at the time and obviously have cooled off like 95% on AVA hype but I definitely look back fondly on this album release.

 

I remember you could pay for a version of the album on the site that included that AWFUL "remix" by Mark, which sounded like he added circus noises to (I think) hallucinations.

 

He added the sound of somebody hitting a nerf gun against a sidewalk to the song

 

For a demo, sounds cool.

 

Sounds exactly like how I imagined it would before I hit play.

 

Forgot there’s supposed to be a new album at some point

This makes me so excited. Sounds like futuristic blink. Also, I’m pretty sure it’s the same demo he teased before, but with a different section being previewed.

 

I actually really like the idea of Tom making AVA into a more synth-y Blink, this sounds great

Well damn...

 

Lyrics have never really been his strong suit so maybe they'll get tweaked but I'm loving the guitar riff and drums. Kinda dude ranch-ish.

Yeah, that sounds pretty great. Excited to hear the finished product!
