I’ve seen many great shows at Toad’s but haven’t been there in a few years so I’m psyched they’re coming through! College Street is probably the better venue though.

 

Was at both of those shows as well, great times!

I mean you can't beat New Haven pizza, that's very true. I used to go to Urban all the time back in the day.

 

This joint venture of Rise and TTS has me thinking Tom is more in charge of this than anything. Rise is there moreso for promotion/booking. TTS will handle the actual movie/music release. All of these 7” releases have been through TTS.

Doing a great job of milking two songs. Two songs on 3 7” releases haha.

 

Winter Tour starts tonight! Hope someome gets a setlist!

 

AVA is playing Toad's? That's wild. Toad's Place is great, anyone's particular bad crowd experiences notwithstanding. I love that place.

 

This is like the first time I’ve ever seen this take. I agree 100% but people love to say how “bad” crowds are that like to watch the show. I love that I can watch my favorite bands in tiny venues and have it also be a nice experience. LA seems tame like that.

 

Looks like they added Valykrie Missile & Dry Your Eyes to the setlist tonight.

I’d love to see my favorite bands in smaller venues for sure. Like I said one of my favorite concerts was a NFG club show. I just had a bad experience and don’t really love being packed into a club with so many people, especially people I don’t know. Maybe it’s just my anxiety?

 

Oh well. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes too high. Would've liked at least another tune off Dream Walker.

 

Dry Your Eyes is awesome.

 

Oh, also Clever Love

Overload, It Hurts, Anomaly, & Hallucinations were cut

 

I feel like Clever Love is not a song I would ever say "Oh man I hope they play that live!" I would prefer other LOVE tracks not played such as Flight of Apollo, Hallucinations, Some Origins of Fire, Epic Holiday, Soul Survivor, Letters to God II, etc.

But cool to get a deeper cut like that live for those who were there!

 

Actually fine with all of those being cut, Overload is fun live but not many people know it. Anomaly should stay but since I've already seen it I'm cool with the cut.

 

Don't mind Hallucinations being cut. Not the biggest Clever Love fan though. Oh well.

 

Looks like no acoustic/blink medley last night too?

 

Clever Love is just so blah in terms of energy. Would've preferred Letters to God 2 with maybe a little PT 1 before hand haha. One can dream.
