Funny, when Travis says it’s not BCR without him everyone is cool with it. But when people say Blink isn’t the same without Tom people lose their minds.

 

I need AVA to play literally every other song from The Dream Walker that they didn’t play this tour, on the next tour... lol

I was surprised how hard they hit. Assuming the others would too.

 

I feel like these two are entirely and completely different.

 

You’re right. Replacing a lead singer is more of a big deal than replacing a drummer. That’s my point.

 

Probably has more to do with Tom quitting blink multiple times and people still being upset about it. While BCR was a one off album that was done 17 years ago and only super fans even remember it even existed.

 

Travis' drumming > Tom's singing

I’m talking about the sound. BCR will sound more like BCR without Travis than Blink does sounding like Blink without Tom.

Sounds to me like they are both on the album but only Rebel Girl is an official single.

 

Think it just means Rebel Girl was sent to radio. Kiss and Tell wasn't

 

Makes sense. Rebel Girl is more radio friendly / pop-ish. Can't imagine Kiss and Tell would've gotten much radio play if it was single even though I love it.

haha yeah that caught me off guard and was hilarious. I just watched it at my desk so i'll have to watch it again. but I thought from the screen shots that the stuff with him and her would have had more energy to it. really well shot video though.

 

Tom is fucking awesome.

 

when Tom goes up on the stage and then the lights turn on to be all epic and shit, it falls flat because it looks like Tom is lost as fuck at that moment, hahaha. Doesn't hit the way it was probably intended...

I like the color scheme of the parts with Tom and the girl, but I didn't understand what was going on at all, and the random cuts of the NSFW bits confused me even more. (EDIT: I think I get it now. he was having a dream about her.)

also, Tom sings "reeeecoverrrr" the same way he sings "passsengerrrrr" in that one other AVA song...

it would have been funny if he was having scandalous dreams of her and she was also having scandalous dreams of him, and he was trying to be sexy, ha.

but yeah... this video was pretty dumb. better than the last one though, but that's not saying much.
