You're going to love it here. His shop is in a cool spot. Its a small shop, but has tons of cool stuff. Tons of food and boutique shops are up the road too. Downtown Encinitas is a small/local area known for its beaches. Check out Lou's Records. Its probably a mile or two north of Tom's shop. Its the first place to ever sell blink music and has a ton of inventory.
Kiss & Tell is pretty alright lol... I keep noticing cool new layers on each listen. Not my favorite track by any means... I like it a lot, but I don’t love it. I almost feel like it’s missing “something” that would tie it all together? Idk...
i can't believe 2019 is an exciting time to be an AVA fan i can't believe it's THIS exciting, on top of that. crazy professional performance for tom's standards, a setlist that puts most to shame in variety and length what a comeback this guy's making
Don’t really see the point in comparing the 2 bands. Glad to have Tom looking and sounding like he gives a shit about music again. Happy to have blink-182 making new musics fairly regularly again. Two things that were never going to happen had Tom stayed with blink.
I would have liked Secret Crowds and The War in the setlist but I can't really complain, it's a lot longer/more full of deeper cuts than I expected. He also sounds really good! I also like the new song a lot, I'm genuinely getting excited about this band again. Really looking forward to the show now
He founded both bands so I see a point in comparing them, especially when they're both releasing new music and touring at the same time. I've tried to stay optimistic about Blink 2.0, but Angels is better. Blink just doesn't have a compelling guitar player anymore.
