i think One Last Thing and Dry Your Eyes are the least inspired songs Tom has ever written. this band was less divisive in the past lol so much love for Love II
The problem is the song peaks at the beginning. The vocal just never reached the level of that amazing intro.
A SUPER underrated song I've always loved and can't remember a time seeing anyone talk about is "The Moon-Atomic". Something about it just reminds me so much on Blink's Untitled album.
i used to repeatedly watch a fan video that's just clips of sunsets and nature with that song as soundtrack. goddamn that thing moved me to tears. probably the last time i got emotional about life and existence itself or whatever lol edit: oh here it is. even left a comment that's apparently pinned now heh
I would be generally surprised if he played any "deep cut" off the Dream Walker, anything off Of Nightmares, or anything from the Chasing Shadows EP. He did an interview shortly after TDW with The AVAMovement and he couldn't even remember some of the song names lol.
that makes me sad cos they're AVA's best releases (well Of Nightmares less so but the Parasomnia demo is sick)
Ugh I was able to get 2 tickets for myself and my girlfriend for Boston through the presale. However, my brother is currently on a cruise and has NO internet so he doesn’t even know about the new song, tour, etc. I thought to be nice and got another 2 through the presale. However, they emailed me hours later and said “we are cancelled your second order. 2 per customer.” So then I had to try my luck with the general sale to be a nice person .... and obviously no luck. Thankfully on Stubhub the starting price is ONLY $175!
Fuckin-a. San Diego sold out before I could get a damn ticket. Shows are selling out fast. Good for them!
Nice to see these shows selling out so fast. For the band, not for the unfortunate fans. Just good to see they can still fill a venue
