It's possible, but I hope not. I don't see those songs translating very well as an acoustic record (I know they have acoustic versions out there, but I'm not a fan). That video is old, from WDNTW sessions.

 

i will forever hold this album (and I-Empire) close to my heart for helping me get through some of the worst shit in my life. will probably not be listening to it anymore when the 20th anniversary comes around, ha.

would like to see a 10-year tour, but at this point it seems unlikely, and maybe it's for the best.

 

It's definitely an acoustic record. Since Ilan is doing other projects right now, Tom is bored and will do anything to keep attention on him as Blink resumes control of the world.

as much of a Tom fan as I am. This really got under my skin. They've been hinting at something special all year and then we're told to expect something May 23, and it's just a old video with a message saying to expect something. LAME

He will move onto his next low quality project as soon as he hits the Post button.

 

He's supposed to be putting out another EP sometime this summer with his Strange Times project too

 

To be fair, he never said to expect something for May 23rd. He said there will be a surprise for the 10th anniversary, not on the 10th anniversary.

 

Listening to the whole album to commemorate its 10 years of release. Best ava album imo. Anyway, listening to the war i got the feeling that tom's voice was repitched (recorded in a lower pitch and then made higher). Idk, just thought of this.

 

True, idk why but that's always been a peeve of mine when band release anniversary edition albums not on the same day as original.. The ones I can remember are Jacks Mannequin and maybe Paramore(?).. It's like celebrating a wedding anniversary 4 months after the real date.. It's minimal and stupid, I know

Tom posted a clip of the acoustic version of "Valkyrie Missile." He should have slowed it down a bit. Feels very rushed. But whatever.

 

Knowing Tom it is going to be rushed, quantity over quality with him these days. It should be slowed down but it sounds decent.

 

I'm all for a WDNTW acoustic album. Only good album they put out.

 

I liked I-empire as well but WDNTW is the best.

 

I honestly think Love Pt 1 is very good for the most part

I think every AVA album has a decent amount of songs I like

 

agreed, Tom does have a tried formula but he still knows how to write killer hooks

 

AVA just posted this on youtube to continue the anniversary trend. Honestly I don't care that he used autotune on that first tour at least it sounded tolerable. he should go back to using autotune live.

 

I think he still does when he plays wth AvA. At least he sounded great on their last UK tour which definitely seemed out of character.
