Tour announcement 4/30 - on sale 5/3? That's usually what happens "ON SALE FRIDAY!".

 

and probably Citi Card Presale that Monday.
And a To the Stars one Tuesday
And a Spotify one Wednesday
And a Ticketmaster/Livenation one Thursday.
Sooo by the time the general onsale starts, prices have increased by $30 and there's only about 3 left

 

It's worth noting that all of those tickets usually belong in separate pools, so it should absolutely never sell out before general onsale.

 

I really hope Tom has learned from all his mistakes he's made with AVA. So far so good......he hasn't been really teasing us obnoxiously about a tour/album with announcement dates he keeps pushing back, AND it looks like he let the band work with a producer. Would be great if he ended up signing them back to a label too.

 

Also interesting that there's a rumored Vegas show scheduled in October......I swear I heard from my roadie friend that the tour was in July.

 

If Blink is planning on doing a summer tour, it might make sense for AVA to plan a fall tour so they don't have to compete with Blink's. But who knows.

 

Maybe there's a couple legs? Summer A market or east coast and then fall B market or west coast or soemsomet?

Back before we were broken hearted? I'm assuming that's a lyric from the new song that'll drop.

Nothing's happened yet and I already feel like this is the smoothest rollout they've had for an album/ep in like 10 years. Everything in the past would be "announced" by Tom on his twitter/IG, and then he'd wait till the day came and push the date back over and over. This actually seems professional lol

 

Yeah, hopefully they are going to be more like an actual band this time around, and not just a branch off of Tom's company. Sign to a label, get some kickass tours, radio play, etc. Get back out there!

 

This is a case where I want a band to do everything by the books. Excited!

 

Imagine if blink and AVA release a new single on the same day

 

and both of them features each other

 

Now just get Tom some good stage gear and we'll be good. Get off those vox heads or whatever he was doing bypassing the cabs and ugh just remembering that whole thing bums me out

I think it would be really cool to hear them with an outside producer, but also fine with Tom taking it on again.

Dream Walker was an excellent return to form after all.

 

Yeah Dream Walker is honestly underrated on this forum, most people I’ve seen outside of here think it’s one of their best. It’s possibly my favorite by them.

 

Oops. I find TDW just about unlistenable. It even sounds muddy compared to the other stuff when playing tom’s picks

 

Yeah, TDW is fine, but it doesn't really sound "professional" or anything. You can tell it's just Tom & Ilan doing everything. I'm not in love with the production either.

 

Interesting, I haven't heard it in a few years so I'll have to revisit and see how I feel now.

I just remember being excited about the songwriting, I could only remember like three songs from Love 2 but I felt like most of the songs on Dream Walker had something that made them memorable to me on the first listen.

 

Yep this is how I feel too. Production may not have been the best, but the songwriting imo was a LARGE step up from the previous couple releases.
