Yeah I love all things Tom, but even I thought the Love albums were hot garbage.

Young London, Shove, Hallucinations, Saturday Love and My Heroine are the only songs I enjoy from that era.

 

Yeah Love is definitely their worst material. I can’t say that I’ve spent a lot of time with their EPs though.

 

Love this album. Listened to it twice in a row today while painting and I think it’s their best tbh

 

Did anyone who pre ordered through To The Stars get their vinyl yet? On Tuesday I got an email saying a shipping label was created for it, but I keep checking the USPS tracker and it still hasnt been brought to the post office.

The Flight of Apollo is still a great intro though

 

I still recall enjoying the majority of Love. The second instalment was pretty uninspired, though.

 

Love part 1 is top tier
Love Part 2 is their worst

 

I honestly think LOVE Part 1 might be Tom's best album.

 

I would say that Natives is a worse Young London haha

 

Love 1 and 2 should have been consolidated into one album. Way too many duds.

 

I love both albums I just wish there was more cohesion and consistency across the two.

Shove is a fantastic and underrated song.

 

What I appreciate about Love Pt 1 is those seamless transitions between some of the songs. The flow that creates sucks you in for the ride.

 

New album is REALLY good. Only skip is No More Guns. Can't stand it. But Fire In a Nameless Town is easily a top 5 AvA song. I'm pleasantly surprised with this!

Nothing that's terrible imo, my biggest complaint is that so many of the songs are rehashes of his other songs

 

LOVE Pt. 2 is easily their “worst” album… but yet, it’s one of those things where if I listen to it, I get a huge nostalgia kick because it really kinda represents that time in my life.

“All That We Are” is the big win from that album IMO… I’d put it firmly in AVA’s all-time, top 5 tracks. Possibly top 3…

 

I agree with all of this except for One Last Thing. I love that song haha. I’d put it in the good category.
