Someone in the AVA FB group said they got in touch with a rep from Ticketmaster and Soundrink. The 200 mile radius only applies to Ticketmaster purchases, NOT soundrink preorders.

 

Do you know if it's a rule just for the presales?

 

That seems extremely lame. Scalpers in those regions are super stoked because they have an easier chance to get them now.

This happened for the recent Dance Gavin Dance show at House of Blues Chicago. AVA is playing the same venue here, and the same restriction applies. May be a new thing.
