According to the Stereogum review, there's two versions of this album. The one we're getting on Friday and a stripped-down acoustic version (which she recorded first) will come out next year.

"Summer" has me feeling like a Western

 

Yeah, this is an absolute stunner. I was uncertain how I would feel for a while. I was impressed by the singles but I didn't love them like the tracks leading up to My Woman. Part of me wanted her to dive further into the pop sounds of "Shut Up and Kiss Me" and her Mark Ronson collaboration from earlier this summer. What she's put together is ultimately way more impressive, so it's all for the best. All the more excited to see her in November and I'm so happy she's taking this album to theatres rather than clubs.

 

Trying to think of an album this year that starts better than this...

I looooove this so much. "What It Is" is a bit of a bop.

 

I pray that she plays the Ryman on this tour.
