Okay, okay. I see your point there. Some songs have a dance-pop vibe, but at least it's not full on dance-pop material like The Pop Underground...which oddly enough I've found myself revisiting as the weather gets warmer. "Synesthesia" made my trek down 95 in DC today much more tolerable when the traffic was at a standstill!

 

Great chorus. Wonder if this is a one-off single or if there's an album coming. It would be a very pleasant surprise to get another album from him so quickly!

 

Heard he said at one of the shows that an album is almost done. Also heard he said around September release. Cannot confirm validity.

 

I like this. Reminds me of his older stuff for some reason, in a good way.

Ohio definitely gives me some TGP vibes, but informed by the self-titled/ITW direction. If that’s what this album is, I’m here for it.

didn't even realize the first AMITW album was 2014. seems like it just came out.

would be great to see a late summer, early fall release for this.

While I love that the benefit travels to different cities now, there is a (very) selfish part of me that wishes it was still in LA every year! But I went to the first 5 in a row, so I really can't be mad haha

 

Selling my blink ticket to try and scrounge up some cash for this. Makes me a little sad, but this will be a bit more special, I think. Also, I won't need to drive to CT for it like I would with blink, haha
