Man, this album has me feeling inexplicably emotional. I'm a wreck over here.

Kind of bummed. I only really like House in the Trees. Oh well, glad everyone else is enjoying it.

"Teenage Rockstars" is much more enjoyable in the context of the album. I kind of hated it at first.

If you didn't I'd suggest playing it start to finish, putting on your best pair of headphones and just taking it all in in one sitting.

I did :( There’s a lot of elements I like, but overall his song writing has lost me on these past two albums.

I don't want to say too much before putting together a full review but I can say that during my first listen at midnight I found myself feeling disappointed but this morning I knew not to go in wanting this record to be SoCo or Everything in Transit or anything else he'd done previously. I know that there are a lot of people who aren't able to do that because it is hard but it's worth it.

I also decided not to skip the tracks he released ahead of last night and to take it all in from start to finish and i went from disappointed to blown away. The effects on his vocals which seem to distract or not make sense on individual tracks suddenly all wove together perfectly when listening to it as a whole.

The vibe of this entire album is fantastic and i love the cover.

Side note: I had no idea Andrew lives in Dana Point. Me and the fiancée go there all the time.

Killing me to not listen to this yet. Don't want my first listen to be through my garbage work computer.

Two full listens in and part way through a third.

Need to spend more time with lyrics in front of me at some point. But House in the Trees and Carless hit pretty damn hard so far.

Loving the vibe and feel of this album.

The vocal effects on this album are like eyebrows to me: I don't realize they're even there until someone mentions them.

Jury is still out on the vocal stuff for me, but overall I’m already loving this more on the first couple listens than I did the last two Wilderness releases on my first listens of those.
