There's a venn diagram of overlaps I never expected

 

Saw Jack's Mannequin last night and they were as good as ever, Andrew still sounds immaculate and the band was on top of their game. While he's played most of these songs over the years as Wilderness , it was pretty amazing to have a show of only Jack's tracks, perfect show

 

The Galaxy Sessions was just uploaded to Camp Wilderness. What a throwback- had most of these songs back in the day, but lost them over the years.

Love those songs. I remember getting them from the B-sides thread on AP freshman year of high school, then asking a cool older kid who wore a SoCo shirt about them. He was like, "I don't know what the fuck that is" and walked away.

 

love those songs. I had a burned CD of those tracks plus the Audioboxer & Ready Break songs that didn't make the album and Konstantine, I listened to it often

 

My friend did the same for me, and included a live version of Konstantine, where after the final "Did you know I miss you" Andrew lets out a sigh and says "God, I miss you." We were obsessed, and still say it anytime we get to hear it live.

Weird ass core memory to have, but here we are.

 

I also remember this version also but can't quite remember what it was from right now. That era of hunting down tracks and burning CDs was such a good time.

YES. I apparently imagined a sigh, lol. But that seems to be it. Hero!

 

New album in the works? Assuming it would be for this project and not any of the others.

 

I think it's a ways away. Mentioned he went into the studio to record another batch of orchestral EIT songs for a second EP, but wasn't feeling it when he got to the studio and ended up working on a new song. Not sure if he's been working on others.

 

Would be cool to get a new album this year, we'll see.

 

Doesn’t he still do this when he plays it now or am I imagining it and thinking of this track.

 

Anyone know what Andrew is teasing along with the SoCo account?

 

3x3 makes me think it's the same Three Pianos show he did at Red Rocks last year, but in three cities this time.

 

Think I would do Three Pianos at Stone Pony Summerstage but not Pier 17, as someone who went to both Out Of Office and Jacks last summer.

 

Too many good concerts this summer. Let’s do this on fall plz.

 

Went to this at Red Rocks and what an experience. It would be cool to see all 3 bands again, but not sure it would live up to how special that day was.

 

Apparently there are deetz up on Camp Wilderness, so someone spill!

 

Nobody's spilled yet but I do wonder if Andrew will be doing this as part of New Jersey's North 2 Shore festival which gets announced next week.

 

There are so many better places for that than Northerly Island

I also know absolutley nothing about Garcia's in Chicago. My first thought was the mexican restaurant in Lincoln Square.
