Andrew was on CBS Sunday Morning breaking down how much artists see from ticket prices

 

I guess that’s the first public thing he’s posted about it. But yea, haha! I bought Portland and jammed it and it sounds good. It’s one of the two shows he’s played all of EIT so far, plus some choice deep cuts. I’ll probably only get the ones from Pittsburgh and Cleveland since I’ll be going to those.

 

Looks like Matt Thiessen made a surprise appearance at the Jack’s Mannequin show in Nashville last night during Amy, I (which he co-wrote). Pretty neat!

Got my VIP details for the Red Rocks show tonight. I can't believe how close it is.
I also am heading to a Dear Jack event earlier that afternoon at the venue; mostly because I will get to park early, haha. Going to be a full day of celebrating Andrew's music at a bucket list venue. I'm already weirdly emotional about it. Such a sucker!
I head out in four days- need this weekend to fly by!

 

Do we know if there’s an opener for this show? I know it’s weird to ask since there’s technically three bands on the bill, but I can’t find anything about an opener

 

From what I've heard, no openers. Supposedly, each band gets a set, then all three will play together.

 

I like that idea so much more. This is going to be a really special night

I wanted to buy the Livestream but I can't watch live and the replay options seem to just be very short

 

Ok, from what I'm seeing, it's three mini sets from each band, an intermission, an acoustic set, then all three bands together. No idea what the order is yet.

Agreed. Kind of love that they haven't shared all of the details officially, though

 

I know a few of y'all are coming out for this. definitely recommend bringing a poncho or rain jacket and a cushion or blanket to sit on. If you can, come in from I-70/north to hopefully either get the upper north lot (best) or lower north lot (next best) parking. Coming in from the south and getting the lower southern lot is a beating to get up to the venue.

Another tip, if you go to an Illegal Pete's and show the cashier your ticket, you'll get a free marg before the show.
