On an unrelated note, Andrew did a Q&A for Camp Wilderness the other night.

edit: by other night, I mean last night. My sleep schedule is super fucked right now and I feel like it’s Friday. But it’s not haha

I sadly had to miss the zoom hang- and Matt Nathanson's where he was playing his new album. Bad day for me, lol

 

I think what I’ve shared was the only real “news” he shared. As usual, a fair share of people trotting their children on to take up more time to slowly and awkwardly ask questions you’d expect from a child. One person basically just asked if he could get a photo pass for his tour date. Andrew is terrible at keeping secrets, so usually some info gets dropped despite usually dumb questions.

 

I would love a one on one zoom, but a group one feels like something I wouldn't enjoy as much because of the reasons you mention

 

Last night was fine because I was playing the pressure washer simulator game while listening. Some fun stories were shared and a little new info was shared. There have been worse zooms before with CW. Since I’ve been lucky enough to have asked questions on zooms before and met Andrew a handful of times now, I don’t stress as much about being able to chat for a minute and ask a question.

I did get to ask a question on the audio q&a with the full band last week and got some cool answers. I asked one question but from two different angles. Basically, what JM lyrics really stuck out to them when preparing for the Venice show the night before. For Andrew, they’re his lyrics so more like “what lyrics hit you as like, oh shit, I wrote that! That’s rad! I forgot about that line/song.” The rest of the band was more what lyrics of Andrew’s stood out to you. It was cool hearing from each band member.

 

Just found out I have a family wedding to attend in Georgia on 11/1... Jack's is playing the next night. Might need to convince the hubby that we need to leave Monday so I can see another show.
