Loved this episode. Maybe my favorite so far even if it’s a set up episode. The bickering between Mon Mothma and her husband, the middle management squabbling between the imperials. Syrill depressingly moving back in with his mom. All great shit. I did not expect to get this level of day to day character minutiae from Star Wars. Legitimately love it.
Luthen’s mini rehearsal to living back in Coruscant was a nice touch as well. Great character so far.
I didn't know Alex Lawther was gonna be in this! pleasant surprise, that kid has acting chops for days. he's absolutely biting it first during the mission but still. and that other dude was Micro from Punisher! killer cast all round, Stellan really stole this one though. that "LOOK AT ME", guddayum
Oh man, that is a hard disagree for me haha. I kind of find him insufferable. I stay away from SW YouTube these days, but the best for me were always Star Wars Explained and At-At Chat. They were the few SW-focused channels that seemed to be able to separate their fandom from critique.
I think that’s the guy who twitter dunks on constantly and he recently lost his twitter account. If that’s him, I’ve heard nothing but bad things about it.
Loved the episode, my only nitpick was the blatant AK-47 design of the rebel weapons. I get it, these guys are engaged in guerrilla warfare.
Damn, I might want to keep watching this in chunks of three like the premiere. It looks like the season is laid out that way judging by the director/writer listings on Wikipedia Still really enjoying this a lot and I loved seeing Coruscant again but I just wanted more after the ending. Not the worst problem a show can have haha
More setup this episode, but next week is when it all kicks off. Nothing really too special, as it was more of the same as the previous episode, but still good.
