Loved K2 using that guy as a meat shield. Also loved how a lot of people speculated Dedra would end up on the Death Star but she was eaten by the imperial machine.
Damn that really did lead directly into Rogue One Give me a Vel & Kleya comic book or novel set after Yavin.
beautiful ending. it's been an honor to experience this in real time with y'all. watching Rogue One again tomorrow night.
Crazy how much depth they gave Kleya just in this 3 episode arc. She ended up being one of my favorite characters just from tonight's episodes.
Seeing some people on Twitter that somehow got "Kleya is Andor's sister" out of that arc. I can see how they got there but come on.
the recap at the beginning showing their relationship, the conversation between Krennic and Dedra where it was suggested as a possibility, and Dedra telling Heert he should be arrested as well
I skip recaps. Dedra wasn’t saying he should be, she was saying that there was probably a cell waiting for him, if he failed.
Finished the first. At first I was not that into the Luthen Kleya backstory, but then it kicked in what they were about to do and I’m so glad they did it this way. Also the scene with Dedra and Luthen in the shop was perfection. “There’s only two pieces in here that are questionable” (or close enough). So good.
some interesting choices here, having it be almost in real time and Cass not even show up halfway through was wild. really ratcheted up the tension in 10 (which was fantastic) but the last half an hour of the finale kinda left like "oh, and here say goodbye to all these other characters too real quick" Vel got done so dirty this entire season lol, but glad they gave Kleya (the best character) time to shine. Dedra's ending was the most satisfying for sure, absolutely perfect and that interrogation scene with Krennic whew
watching Rogue One right now, they did a really job leading into this but it's not quite seamless. Cass is a lot more ruthless and willing to kill other rebel soldiers a day after he risked everything to go save Kleya
I don't know how it never hit me during the entire series run that Melshi is in Rogue One and takes part in the Battle of Scarif at the end.
