Babysitting my nieces all week. The finishing up a move. I have no idea when I’m actually going to get a chance to watch the final arc. Ugh.
The oldest (four) watches Rebels (seems to young, but I wasn’t upset), so why not I guess. Edit: I can get her opinion on the difference between Mon Mothma’s speech in Rebels vs Andor.
Yea she only half pays attention to what’s on the tv anyway. Though she’d probably get interested if Chopper or Sabine made a cameo.
I'm taking a risk wading in here as I'm not fully caught up yet, but the first 4 episodes have been absolutely fantastic. I know some people would find it as boring as hell, but the dialogue in the empire meeting scenes are just gripping to me. Those scenes have been some of the best in the show. It's just so real, and gritty, and impactful compared to some of the other more 'fun' star wars pieces. I don't want ALL star wars to be like this, as it'll create that swing cycle we've had in superhero movies between dark and brooding and oh, people want fun again! but this is damn good. There's definitely a place for different tones and I hope over the next decade or so, the creatives allow that ying and yang to happen and we get these more 'adult' pieces. EDIT - I am WAY not caught up. I thought 7 / 8 / 9 dropped today not 10 / 11 / 12.
I think Skeleton Crew is a great example of this. I thought it was super well done and a lot of care was put into it, with a great story. But it had a totally different tone and energy.
Some Q&A with Tony and Diego, plus some guests along the way. I’m only 10 minutes in so I’m not sure if there is anything noteworthy. So far they played Amon’s speech since Genevieve joined via zoom and are now talking about it. https://www.youtube.com/live/uvkpcedAtXs?si=v6tLQExnV3bD7597
Meero's possibly grief driven recklessness is the reason the rebels initially learned about the Death Star And Erso!
I want an animated show set probably after the Ahsoka show with Hera and Bix as the main characters and for their kids to be best friends. Call it 2 moms, 0 dads. Uncle Chopper is there with B2.
