It's amazing to think about how much of what happened in the last few episodes was made possible by Lonni.
It’s one thing the show does so well. History tends to latch on to singular figures responsible for change, but real movements require thankless work of the masses who we’ll never know.
it’s possible we’ll see this play out, with Bix working for Lutsen and Andor working with the Yavin Rebels, but Cassian will not see her again. legit tore my heart out hearing her say “I’ll find you” this show is too good.
would love Tales of the Rebellion mapping out their start and some of the in between moments of this show.
I don’t think we know for sure what Bix went off to do. She may not be working for Luthen. She very well could be, but I don’t know.
obviously we don’t know that for sure, i just think that’s the most likely scenario that would allow the audience to see what she’s up to, ala Wilmon with Saw last arc.
I don’t think we’ll see Bix next week. I think we may hear about her from Luthen, but I think that was her on screen goodbye.
I’d like to see the fallout of Mon’s speech with her family life. Her relationship with her daughter and Perrin was such a big part of the first season and the start of this one.
Holy shit I finally got to the most recent arc and this show is just too fucking good. My heart was pounding for basically the entirety of 8 (and yeah the Palestine comparisons were hard to avoid, making it even more intense) and episode 9 absolutely FLEW by, I was shocked that it's actually the longest of the season so far It's been mentioned in here but I can't believe how masterfully they tied this in with the Rebels episode about Mon's speech
Some people are upset that her senate speech doesn’t match Rebels. But I choose to view them both as accurate, from a certain point of view. what we see in Andor is her actual speech. What we see in the beginning of the Rebels episode was broadcasted with commentary, indicating that it wasn’t live from what we are seeing. My personal take on it, what Phoenix Squadron sees is a manipulated tone down speech made by the Empire. Censoring out “genocide” to make it less extreme, but leaving it treasonous enough to justify wanting to arrest her.
