An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

kinda think this week was her write-off and she won't appear again but who knows

    there is one way out

Yeah. You’re probably right. I’m probably just used to characters coming back after leaving/dying. But yeah. She’s probably gone and he comes to terms over the next year.

  3. She said they could be together after they win (paraphrasing) so I assume we do not see her again. And makes cassians death a little more sad

There's a chance we see her again, but I'm guessing Cassian never does. And he knows it at the end of this episode

I would like to see a proper send off of B2, the best boy. I don't like that he was abandoned on Mina-Rau with everyone leaving him and Brasso dead

Seeing quite a few people trying to spin Syril as some misunderstood good guy.

weren't the K2 droids, like much more susceptible to blasters in R1? Jyn one-shots one and then K2 himself dies by blasters

Blasters are as effective as the writer wants them to be haha

New Rockstars had the best take on this scene I've seen yet. That they're each terrible and this end was inevitable.

I wasn’t quite as stoked on this season through the first six episodes as I was in season 1, but this third batch of episodes really sent this show into the stratosphere of amazing TV

I just saw someone make the claim that Syril was going to defect when he paused and lowered his blaster. Baffling. I have no clue who New Rockstars are.

Really hoping for some sort of epilogue if we don’t get final fates of Bix, Luthen, and B2-EMO. I think it would be a nice way to end the show since we already know everyone else’s endings.

I took his final scenes more as he realized in that moment that his whole role on Ghorman was a ruse, he got played, he realizes what’s happening on Ghorman is absolutely fucked, and his belief in the Empire as something to be protected is shaken. But I would look at it more as him being the type of person who thinks this was done by “bad apples” and not the tree that’s rotten.

It doesn’t make him a good guy, but it is framed as tragic. You see the hint of empathy and regret when he’s standing in the square that shows he maybe had a chance at humanity at one point, but was naive and blindly allegiant to the end. He’s a bad guy and a little weasel of a man, but he’s always felt like a mirror of Cassian in a way. Syrill has Cassian’s determination, but he was raised to be a servant of the empire.

Episode 9 ruled. Up there with the prison arc and Aldani.

There are people saying he was going to defect and that’s why he paused. I just can’t get behind something like that.

I feel like there were a couple things happening there. When Cassian says "Who are you?" Syril is dumbstruck because the object of his obsession for the last several years doesn't even hold him in enough significance to remember him which is a blow to his psyche. Secondly, I believe the question really did give him pause to think, "Who am I? Is this who I wanted to become? Someone who wanted to bring about a genocide, at least in part?"

Ultimately, it doesn't matter what his last thoughts for as he is just another piece of timber for the out of control inferno that is fascism which will continue to spread and take over the entire galaxy unless good people stand up and fight it.

If you're into easter eggs and that sort of thing then they're great. Their breakdowns are always on point. Them and Star Wars Explained are my 2 go to's for this type of stuff.

Finally caught up on Andor. I don’t like that Bix is potentially done appearing and her final scene is leaving a good bye video to Cassian. I wanted to see her in action more with the resistance. She basically just stayed in rooms after episode 3. I was hoping she would confront Dedra.
