That’s just poor media literacy on their part. Luthen tells Lonni that he needs info faster. Lonni is clearly told specifically that Gorst is coming to Coruscant. We later see The light blinking in the distance outside of their window. Which was clearly established as Luthen having a mission for Andor and/or Bix. Andor promises Bix will come along on whatever it is. We then see Gorst on Coruscant along with Andor and Bix on a mission together. It’s exactly what the show set up. Not even mentioning that we also know Luthen knows Bix is still affected by her torture and wants her in a better place. Having her strike back at Gorst would be empowering. Of course he would send them to do that. While we aren’t shown it, Lonni gets the info about Gorst to Luthen quickly as requested. It all lines up.
8 was an absolutely incredible episode of television holy fuck. Towards the end it started to make me think about Palestine and j got really emotional
Got done with the first one. It pains me but I’m gonna have to call it for tonight. The Mon Mothma line about creating a petition was too close to home right now. The force healer thing was a nice way to touch on the force in an agnostic kind of way.
My only questions right now are, what’s the deal with Luthen? I’m kind of surprised he’s totally separate from what’s happening on Yavin. The other is Saw. How much more of him will we see this season? I suppose it’s possible these are all answered when I finish this arc.
also did i miss something when Vel was staring at that gun, and the guy came forward to claim it? was that Cinta's gun? idk if i remember him
I could not see the details or recall exactly how he would have gotten it for sure… but I think it was from Aldhani, which Melshi got from Andor after they escaped the prison. May rewatch the end of episode 10 in a bit to verify.
