I can’t begin to imagine how one would fix a trailer. Not even going to watch it. It was a great trailer.

All the person did was change the music, and I think the chosen music works pretty well.

So they fixed nothing. My insights served me well.

Since I am not watching it I can’t say if the new music works or not. But anytime I see the “I fixed” type videos I always think of the Endgame one I saw. The person thought they were super clever and realized that the song Iron Man could be played when Iron Man snapped everyone back. They put the song over the scene and it doesn’t fit at all. Like, they have no comprehension of anything beyond “iron man and Iron man, holy shit.” It makes my head hurt.

My hope is the music situation has actually sparked a lot of conversation and the many, many "trailer but with different music" videos popping up just spreads the good word about Andor further. OG trailer still good tho.

 

I feel the music is a big improvement, but to each his own.

 

rewatching the original trailer a couple more times made me realize the music choice wasn't as big of a deal as i thought it was. different than what we've come to expect from other trailers that are set to a score/orchestral arrangement, but not the end of the world

 

Star Wars fans have just such an inability to accept anything different than what they know/expect, so I have no real desire to enable them and their "fixed" videos.

Not a dig at you @Ferrari333SP, I'm not lumping you into the group I'm complaining about.

 

is it alright to lump fanedits in this too? feel like there are too many people that swear by either despecialized versions or recuts of every SW project with visual tweaks to make it feel more like the SW they grew up with. just a bit annoying

 

Fan edits with the end goal of humor are fine.

As someone who was mocked at an old job for loving Star Wars, I can safely say that I hate Star Wars and Star Wars fans. Haha

 

I have enjoyed the person that has edited some of the TV shows into a movie

 

I’m surprised they’re doing three episode dumps for each arc. I assumed they’d do it for the first arc, but I figured they’d want to spread out the conversation around the show rather than just four weeks.

 

My guess is that it works best story wise and lets them avoid overlap with Ironheart.

 

I have no idea what Ironheart is. For the record, I want this injected straight into my veins. So I don’t mind the quicker release schedule.
