I watched Rogue One last night instead. Then fell asleep. Can’t wait for tonight.

Lol yeah our kid isn’t even born yet and has our tv watching severely lacking.

Finished episode 1; all world building so far. Cinema level quality to it, which is awesome.

Just finished episode 3; this is really good stuff. I just keep wanting to know more about what’s happening on all these worlds. Beautiful soundtrack too; very un-Disney like. The whole thing exudes movie-quality

 

Thank god. Hopefully this thing gets enough praise and Disney realizes this is the direction to take things

This show is legit good and feels very different from the other Star Wars shows. There's real thematic weight here. The sets look great and feel tangible. No more having to stare at Tatooine vistas. The score is great too. I'm loving everything about it so far.

Ep 3 was fantastic and really kicks things off. I can't wait for more.

This looks fantastic. Episode 1 has me so curious.

 

This fucking rules so hard. I’ll probably have more thoughts later, but starting the show with Cassian shooting a “cop” in the face ruled. Reminds me of Blade Runner. Love that there was only once action sequence so far. A nice slow burn.

 

I got Blade Runner vibes from the opening scene too.

 

I got bored in the first one and found myself on my phone a lot. That’s never happened before in any Star Wars content in my life.

 

First episode is so good. It doesn't quite feel like Star Wars and that's the best part

okay, but seriously, this is a slow burn. It has got to be the Star Wars media that has the longest stretch without an action sequence. I do think the slow burn will turn some people off. But I for one love it.

 

Was there a whole story line in a made up language that we weren't supposed to understand or were my subtitles just not working?

 

There were not subtitles. What did you not understand? There was enough context to know what was going on.
