I was expecting this news, this show seems like a massive time commitment to create and I don't think they were that close to the end when the strikes happened Has it even been confirmed that they've started production again?
Pretty sure they had already finished filming, and just need to do post-production now. Not surprised on the delay though, as it was originally slated for August 2024 so being pushed to 2025 makes sense. Also, there is still Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi planned to come out next year which is exciting
Why would other Star Wars shows make me feel excited? This is the only one that matters and had something interesting to say
I've pretty much lost interest in most Star Wars things outside of Andor at this point, but I'll admit I'm still intrigued by the Acolyte since it's seemingly not connected to anything we've seen on the screen thus far (though it is related to the High Republic books and comics from what I understand). The Skeleton crew has an interesting slate of directors with the Daniels, David Lowery, and Isaac Lee Chung.
Tales of the Jedi had great Dooku episodes, and Bad Batch has crept up to be one of my most anticipated. The last few episodes of season 2 were fantastic. Also intrigued by Acolyte as it is the first thing to step away from the Skywalker timeline
Actually yea, both seasons of Bad Batch have been fantastic so I’m definitely looking forward to that too.
wow watching Chernobyl right now and surprised at the number of actors in both shows unfortunately now I've seen that one dude's hog
I have a feeling The Acolyte is going to get into the lore of what the Sith were up to in hiding the years directly prior to Palpatine's plot started and maybe flesh out the Darth Plageous stuff which really interesting.
Watched Chernobyl for the first time last year and enjoyed the casting overlap as well! Both very good shows.
