man if they had a B2EMO droid at Galaxy's Edge I'd probably fly straight down to FL to get one right now
I think it can't be overstated how much Diego Luna brought to this show. His scenes were understated but well-acted. He is the star and producer of the show and he let his ego go for the sake of the story. Not a lot of actors will do that. They want their big hero moment or to have most of the screentime, etc. He went out there and gave a hell of a performance and didn't make it about himself but about the story. I am very happy this show was so good and Diego deserves a lot of credit for it.
We’ll it really makes sense for how they want to structure the show, and it’s a clever one at that. He’s the vessel for the audience, an understated character learning about the rebellion just as we do, and is a key influencer of the events without being the key person of each event. All threads lead back to him, but like Luthen exemplifies, the rebellion is led in the shadows. Just great great stuff and it allows for them to write many different stories, rather than just one continuous one. The 3-4 part arcs have been so incredible to see unfold, and the prison break is probably one of my favorite plot line of any of the SW shows
The critical acclaim has been making me want to watch this, even though I haven’t been able to finish Obi Wan, that I found to be really underwhelming so far, unless it gets better in the last two episodes I have left. I figure I should revisit Rogue One right? I haven’t seen it since it came out.
This is a prequel to Rogue One so you don't really need to necessarily. You could actually basically treat that movie as the series finale to this show once the second season airs It's a great movie though
This show is better than Obi Wan, although the last two episodes of that show are probably the best of the season. You don't need to rewatch Rogue One to see this, but I probably would anyway just because it's a good movie
Debating downloading this on my iPad so I can finally watch the finale while I’m traveling the next two days. Wanted to watch it on a bigger screen but I’m getting antsy.
What a finale. What a season of tv. I still can’t believe how good this ended up being. Brasso defending our sweet boy B2EMO with Maarva’s brick was beautiful. As was the ass kickery of Anvil tower guy. I genuinely loved how Cassian is on a small scale personal mission to save Bix the whole time while the riot is kicking off (“even the smallest acts of insurrection pushes our lines forward”). Setting up Luthen as his rebellion mentor will be an interesting dynamic too. This has surpassed TLJ as my favorite Disney Star Wars.
