Also you guys should definitely watch Rebels if you haven't. This isn't really the kind of show for fan service but I almost think it would be a shame if Andor didn't tie in with those characters at least a little, they're both instrumental for the creation of the Rebellion. Definitely don't expect the same tone as this show though lol
Rebels is so great. Kanan may just be my favorite Jedi in Star Wars. His arc through that show is so good.
Kanan is a top Jedi for me. I even named my dog after him. So many amazing characters on the show. I can’t wait to see Ezra again in Ahsoka.
the last arcs in both Rebels and Clone Wars are some of the best Star Wars. but yeah they're good in completely different ways to what made Andor so great
Is Rebels easier to get into than Clone Wars? I’m on season 4 of clone wars now just occasionally watching episodes here and there and it is a tough show for me to really get into
It’s def more of a through line story-wise. Still some one-off episodes but we stay with the same gang as they do stuff lol
I would say absolutely. Rather then focusing on various characters from large groups, it’s focus is on one group or “family” of 6 characters. It allows the show to have way more focus and better flow. It also wasn’t aired out of chronological order.
gonna be BLASTING the funeral dirge in my store all day tomorrow. gotta keep the vibe in check. also, I shouted when Brasso took out the Imperial Officer with Maarva’s brick.
This for sure. Since it’s more of an anthology show, some of those multi-episode stories in Clone Wars are a drag. The quality is a little inconsistent and the jumping timeline doesn’t get you as invested sometimes.
The droids arc in season 5 that Lucas loves is so bad. For years Clone Wars didn’t have a proper ending. At least now, it has a great ending arc with parts 1 and 2 being maybe the best episodes of the show. Maybe. Clone Wars is great overall, but it’s not as easy to kick back and binge it.
laughed out loud when the tower guy spartan kicked the trooper off the tower what a show. what a finale.
seemed very obvious that the narkina 5 station was making death star parts but still a fun post credit scene - wonder how much of S2 will deal directly with the lead-in to rogue one.
It was a fairly obvious option. But in my head, Geonosians and or Wookies did most of the labor for it. Different eras of canon and all that. You never know these days haha
