Rewatching rogue one and I think it’s my favorite Star Wars movie. Not the best, but the one I enjoy watching the most.
This show really puts the weight behind the "I've been in this fight since I was six years old!" line in Rogue One

I feel like it should be at least the first 3 episodes. Really enjoying the series now but wasn’t hooked until the heist arc, but they understand the metrics of how all this works.
It definitely takes three episodes to start grabbing people, but I'm guessing three 45-minute episodes could be hard to cram into the ABC, FX, and Freeform time slots. Not sure why they wouldn't do the first three on Hulu though.
You almost don't even need to have seen any Star Wars to still enjoy this show, other than a basic understanding of the evil empire and a rebellion
Having knowledge of Star Wars is going help during the finale though... How else are you going to understand the significance of Cassian being a Palpatine?
At some point in Star Wars cannon, maybe decades from now, there will be a scene of someone from Yoda's species igniting a red lightsaber and it will be awesome.
that's Grogu. he already told Luke to fuck off so he could go hang out with his friend after he got a shirt for a present
