The insanely talented Anderson .Paak just released a music video for what I'm assuming is the first single off his highly-anticipated upcoming album. This song is like liquid gold... I can't wait for summer. Definitely watch/listen to the video ASAP.

Do we know who produced the new track yet? Some of the sounds sound so familiar but I can't place it. Maybe Cashmere Cat?

 

Pretty sure the Free Nationals album is just the band. I'm sure he'll sing on at least a song or two, but I didn't take it as two albums from .Paak.

There are two albums coming. One solo, one with The Free Nationals. This new song is from the solo record. That article itself says in the sub-headline that there are two albums.

EDIT: now I see what you are saying, interesting thought about The Free Nationals not technically including Anderson as a member. We'll see, I guess!
