For example, Blueprints came out the same year as Two Lefts by Relient K. Both bands I love. One of those definitely sounds much more dated than the other. Lol.
I bought both Blueprints & NTFP (on CD, yeah!) when they were released. Whilst I enjoyed NTFP, I have to admit I didn't properly get into Anberlin until Cities came out. It was at that point that they properly clicked and I realised how good they were. My enjoyment of NTFP has grown since then. As for Relient K, a lot of those Two Lefts songs have aged but I'd still choose to listen to it over Blueprints. I've got a much higher emotional connection to it.
No joke. There are a couple two lane roads in my area that have no business being two lane roads with the amount of traffic we get and I sing that exact thing to myself every time. I can't believe I'm not the only one.
Also, I agree about Two Lefts over Blueprints. Two Lefts is the first great Relient K album in my book.
There's a question someone asked on Anberlin reddit that has remained unanswered: how do the Help Yourself records compare to the quality of the other records/CDs? Any noticeable changes/improvements? I havent compared...wondering if people around here have.

They just updated all of their socials profile picture to what looks like a photo of them that has been ripped up and put back together. When you go to their website its just a blank page with the same photo.
Is it an old photo? Trying to tell if this is: A. A new photo they've all taken together B. Someone's school project that they sent to the band and they just updated their profile picture
I'll be low key mad if they get back together after acting like it would never ever ever happen. But also pretty stoked.
