Unstable Other Side Self-Starter (ouch) Type Three (OUCH!) Orpheum Little Tyrants Innocent Dead American Type Three vs. Modern Age is the worst early matchup since Godspeed vs. (*Fin). I don't love either one more than the other.
Since Intentions is most likely getting shut out, I just want to underline how wonderful it is. Is there a more danceable Anberlin song in existence?
No Love To Speak (Such a strong song) Other Side (City Electric is my least favorite on Devotion. Still pretty good, but probably the only song from this era that I would say is just good and not great) God, Drugs, and Sex (This was so hard but in the end I chose the closer over the opener, both top tier songs though) Modern Age (Another really tough round. Modern Age is one of the best on the album though) Orpheum (Again, very tough.) Intentions (This one sucked so much. I kept going back and forth :( Little Tyrants is a fantastic song, a fan favorite, and will likely blow this out of the water, but I love Intentions so I am gonna give it some love and give it the push) Said Too Much (This is not getting any easier. Said Too Much has the edge but just barely) Desires (and finally two very strong harder tracks. Desires wins for me but, like basically every other matchup save maybe the first 2, it was close and hard to choose) Wow. That was a struggle.
Nope, thinking about it more, that one's definitely a close second. Stranger Ways is pretty dance-y too in a unique way.

Unstable Other Side (I still like City Electric, probably more than most other people do) God, Drugs, & Sex (major ughhhh, I'm a sucker for their epic album closers) Type Three (fav song on album but so hard to vote out Intentions) Someone Anyone Little Tyrants Said Too Much Desires That was way more agonizing than the other albums have been. And this is only the first full round?!
Did not expect Type Three to do so well doming out of the gate. I love it, but also voted for it partly cause I thought Modern Age would shut it down.

Can we talk for a minute about how awesome it was for them to release this? 3 discs and I’m pretty sure it was relatively cheap iirc.
Unstable Other Side Self Starter Modern Age Orpheum Little Tyrants Innocent Desires Great round, great album! So many of my favourite Anberlin tracks are here. I think Self-Starter is my favourite opener. Little Tyrants is phenomenal. Modern Age is a favourite that has grown on me recently. God, Drugs & Sex is a good closer but doesn’t match Self-Starter - interesting the first and last got paired though! This album has one of the strongest openings - back to back greatness for a few songs!
