    Art of War is great sonically, and the bridge is one of the highlights of the entire record, but the lyrics are some of my least favorite in Anberlin's entire discography. They're take me out of the song a bit.

    Yeah I agree with the lyrics and they are pretty "highschool" and cheesy but the other points you made are why I love it so much!

    Yeah if the lyrics were as layered as the song itself, it'd probably be my favorite on the record. The fact that the song sounds so terrific makes the lyrics that much more frustrating for me.

    I’ve found brackets aren’t totally my thing, but fuck you guys. Hahahaha Dark is my second favorite Anberlin record (only below Vital).

    Surprised at the Art of War love. Not what I'd call a standout song on this album.

    I hate spoilers. Supporter

    Art of War starts out so strong, but that chorus is about as bland of a melody/lyrical combo as you can come up with.

    Song drags.

    The first minute of the song is straight fire though.
