Audrey, Start The Revolution (The chorus was the tipping point, both songs are solid)
Never Take Friendship Personal (Two very different songs. Both are good at what they do, but I gotta go with the energy of the opener)
A Day Late (Agree with the people saying the redone version of FGD was one of the major highlights of New Surrender, and One Day Late is a fine song anyways so)
Dance, Dance, Christa Paffgen (I like NFA, but this was the beginning of a 5 album streak of absolutely killer album closers and I would feel like a heretic voting against it)

 

Feel Good Drag versus Disappear would be torture. One is a classic, and the other is probably one of their most underrated songs.

 

I can't bring myself to vote in this round. Symphony vs. Never Take is an impossible choice for me.

haha I love NFA. Always been one of my favorite Anberlin b sides. Dance has always been one of my least favorite closers of theirs as well

 

I could have gone either way. Both mean a lot to me.

 

Probably the easiest choice for me.

 

Definitely the easiest for me. Symphony is a top 5 Anberlin song and NTFP is one of the weakest on the album.

 

Some potentially really nasty matchups coming up next round, ugh :(

minus the first one which will be an easy win for whoever wins this round haha

Oh my, ADL continues it’s shellacking of the better version of FGD. Meanwhile a tight battle between Blase and NTFP continues into the night.

I'm down and Paperthin is my favorite off this album. A timeless classic for me.

I don’t think album covers were exactly Anberlin’s strong suit. So might be an odd bracket. Dark is the only one that I think has genuinely great artwork. Not saying the other have “bad” art persay. Just nothing I’ve ever thought was really note worthy.

 

I quite like NTFP when you open it up and see all the different cracked statues/flowers/paint. Certainly unique.
