How the fuck does the only song on Blueprints that really stands up to the rest of the bands discography get out in the first round. Cadence. Love Song. Glass to the Arson. Readyfuels.
"I'd Like to Die" is a Dark is the Way b-side along with "Hell or High Water". Interestingly, those are like the only two b-sides not available to purchase and I think they're two of their strongest.
Cadence We Dreamt in Heist Glass to the Arson Readyfuels Even though I'm going with Cadence, I have to say Cold War Transmissions holds up exceedingly well over time. There are four clear standouts for me (Readyfuels, Glass, Cadence, and Naive Orleans) and I'd put Cold War right behind them. Very underrated song. But it's still gotta go.

If Naive Orleans hadn't been pitted against Glass to the Arson, I'd have picked it over anything else.

Hot take: I think Hell Or High Water is a better song than To The Wolves and should have replaced it on Dark Is The Way.
To the Wolves is one of the worst songs they've ever done. Anything should have replaced it. Honestly they should have scrapped at least half of that album.

Cold War Transmissions We Dreamt in Heist Glass to the Arson Readyfuels That was hard. I had to go with Glass and Readyfuels because they were the first two songs I heard (back in the PureVolume days!)
Where we stand: Cadence: 6 Cold War Transmissions: 4 We Dreamt In Heist: 6 Love Song: 4 Glass to the Arson: 8 The Undeveloped Story: 2 Readyfuels: 9 Autobahn: 1 I am deeply concerned about anyone who chose Heist over Love Song. To be clear, the best songs on this album are cadence, Love Song, Glass, naive, and Cold War, not necessarily in that order but probably. Also To The Wolves is wonderful, one of my favorites on that record.
Cold War Transmissions Love Song Glass To The Arson Readyfuels Cold War Transmissions vs. Cadence was the toughest one for me this round. I thought about it for a bit, but I give Cold War Transmissions just the slightest edge. I feel weird voting for a cover song over an original song, but I've never really been a fan of We Dreamt In Heist's chorus. I actually find it pretty annoying. Glass To The Arson over The Undeveloped Story was pretty easy, as was Readyfuels over Autobahn.
