Nothing is Sound is the one. But The Beautiful Letdown is a close second. The five album run from TBL to Vice Verses is worth checking out if you decide to binge.

So I listened to about 30 seconds of each of those songs and I remember them both. I thought meant to live was like three days grace or something And then dare you to move I thought was Snow Patrol lol So I guess I knew Switchfoot after all

The dip happened for me around HH/VV even though I do like most of the songs of those. Some of the anthemy type stuff seems less personal and them trying to hard to be on the radio. Fading West was a big letdown and Native Tongues even more so. WTLST had some good stuff but still too much of that radio sound.

I’m probably in the minority that really liked Interrobang, weird chords and all. It actually surprised me.

I might be the only fan with this opinion but Fading West is my favorite SF album. That record (and the extra songs on the Edge of the Earth EP) is magical...not sure why, maybe it's how they wrote/recorded around the world adjacent to their favorite surf spots...the melodies are so good. It's definitely not a "Switchfoot" album and that's why I love it.

Can't imagine not being down with Native Tongue. I remember really loving State Of The Art especially.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

For those that aren't tuned into Switchfoot as of late they released a new single tonight called Absolution. I'm reallyyyy digging the guitars and energy of these two singles. Really stoked for their new album.
