they'd absolutely tout it as a great way to spin Nevertake. and if it damages the record, don't worry, they've still got plenty of unsold copies.

edit: they put the turntable up. it's $300 and it's Matty's signature and not Stephen's.

Vital is 13 years old. Such an incredible album.

 

Every time I see posts from this band on social media I just have to admit that the ship has sailed and the band I knew is gone. That's fine for them and their financial well-being, but they have just sapped me of caring about what they do next, if they do it with Matty. Very disappointed but at least Convinced and Silverline in particular were an incredible way to go, much better than Lowborn.

This might be the worst piece of merch I've ever seen. $300 for the worlds worst record player with a sketchy looking paint job that features the autographs of everyone except the guy that sang on the album, and features a signature of someone who didn't sing on the album.

"This 3-speed (33 1/3, 45, 78 rpm) suitcase record player features UPGRADED PREMIUM SOUND QUALITY and sits on sound isolating feet that prevent vibration." I can promise you that the lack of isolation is not what was making this sound horrible.

If Marty actually does sign it that would be the biggest kick in the teeth lmao, literally trying to take part ownership of something he wasn't part of. At least just have the members who were actually on the album be the only ones to sign it, I don't think anyone wild enough to buy it would be going "What do you mean MARTY didn't also sign it????"
