idk if i ever asked, but was anyone else active on the band's internal forum way back in the day? i know it no longer exists, but there was some fun conversation over there (and it's also how i ended up with a copy of the I'd Like to Die single).

 

I was prolific on there lol

 

I was also very active on their Fancorps street team. I got a ton of free shit on there, including a meet and greet with them on the NS tour for me and my friends. Good times

 

now that i think about it, i might've seen your name a couple times

 

I was pretty active on there, the main guy who moderated it Reid/Reed was super nice and did a great job growing and managing the community

 

Yep! I actually continued to pop in there from time to time for the years where it wasn’t really active anymore but still online and talk to him sometimes lol

 

I remember he had an acct on absolutepunk iirc too, maybe I’m wrong? Is he here? Reid/Reed? Helloooooo?

 

And yes I just tried community.anberlin.com and forum.anberlin.com and neither worked. :(

No, I wasn’t a fan until New Surrender, so I believe it had expired by then.

 

I remember going to Best Buy and buying the deluxe edition of the album with the DVD with it when it came out. I don't think mine had this. I guess it was only in certain copies?

 

I also have the special edition with the DVD, and the city pass was included in my copy.

 

Chiming in that I bought the deluxe version of Cities from Best Buy (for $7.99 on release day!) and have no memory of that City Pass.

I went to buy The Showdown’s Temptation Come My Way and got Cities on a whim because it was cheap, lol. One became one of my favorite albums ever, the other… has some good Metallica apings, haha.

You normally have to pay to get past the city walls
