Adelaide is super high on my dislike list, I hate that chorus

 

Adelaide is such a banger.

 

I love Adelaide, just not right after Godspeed on the album.

 

I can't imagine it any other way haha.

 

Adelaide rocks. Cities is crystallized in my memory straight down to how each song ends and the next begins. Couldn't imagine anything after Godspeed than Adelaide

 

All you have to do is imagine any other song starting after Godspeed. It’s actually really easy.

I guess we all have a Cities chorus that bugs us for some reason lol, personally the hook on Whisper/Clamor irritates me a lot

 

regarding Adelaide.

 

Oh man, that's one of my favorite hooks ever.

 

I'm not sure there's a single part of Cities that's any less than great for me.

They had a contest going when Cities was released…can’t recall exactly what the prizes were but I think a trip somewhere? Anyone remember that? I always wondered if someone won that and if it was legit.

 

I feel validated haha. I remember Lucas27 and I disagreed on this years ago haha.

I also don’t think adelaide belongs after Godspeed but the song is good. Lower on the album for me though.
