That was a huge qualm of mine I had during furnace fest. Coheed actually did GA:1 straight through, but Emery did like, a medley from their discog before doing a greatest hits from the weaks end that finished with Walls. Eighteen Visions also annoyed me by doing something similar and playing Tower of Snakes at the end instead of where it’s supposed to be in the album.
(And don't leave out two of the best songs on it.) :) Edit: Nvm, it seems the band was limited on time, which makes sense for a festival. I'm being a little salty.
From my understanding, the bands didn't choose to play the albums, the festival did, so least they could do is schedule around it. I wouldn't say you're being salty.
That cognitive dissonance when a band is super stoked to play their new song and everyone hates them for it.
Sadly found myself dancing and singing along to High Stakes today. Anberlin crushed per usual. Didn’t stop moving their whole set.
All of the people saying "Marty" in this thread makes me feel like I fell into an alternate dimension in my week long absence from checking this site, and maybe I did
Mom, can we buy a Stephen Christian? Mom: We have Stephen Christian at home The Stephen Christian at home:
I don't think that I need to see Matty sing this album, but it's still weird to skip the whole northeast.
I know the band's legacy is largely shaped by NTFP and Cities, but I feel like they been playing these two albums in full almost every other year for like the last ten years. I know they're probably following the money as a legacy band, but selfishly, where's the Vital anniversary shows? (Or anything post-Cities haha.)
