Cities, NTFP, Vital, Blueprints and Lowborn are all in the right order, just push NS and Dark to the back.
Vital/Devotion at 4 and DITW at 6 is ludicrous, and while some elements of Lowborn have not aged well, by no means is it their weakest album.
Lowborn is towards the bottom for me too but definitely not because of production. Production is great. But based on the conversation here people wouldn't like my ranking either haha.
Although I agree that new surrender is higher than it should be, that was released right after I really got into the band, so I’ll always love it. It was great seeing the livestream performance of the album and have them realize that there’s actually some good songs on the album
I've been listening to the EPs recently and I like them a lot, they're probably in the middle of the pack somewhere around Lowborn for me.
New Surrender isn't great because nothing noteworthy happens in the second half of the album. Haight Street is fun, but that's it. The closer is such an obvious attempt to recapture what was so special about fin, but didn't come close to matching it.
Sorry to be off topic but I'm listening to the Vital remixes for the first time and they are not doing it for me haha. The intro of this sounds like it was specifically made to be a truck commercial.
Yeah there's no need haha. On rare occasion remix albums are great but this isn't one of those times.
NTFP album playthrough with Matty on vocals and Stephen playing the tambourine and awkwardly dancing around the entire time, waiting for it to be over so he can indefinite hiatus.
