Samesies, couldn't catch it in real time as it happened during my sleeping hours. With the added news of them recording new music, I'm so so so looking forward to watch it later.
If I buy a livestream ticket does anyone know if I'll be able to watch the short film from yesterday?
Pretty sure it was only before the live show yesterday. But there's always tracking down the Best Buy CD version with the bonus DVD (or YouTube?)
One might say that...the instrumentals are kinda cool and you get occasional footage of the band recording. But I remember watching the bonus DVD for the first time and recalling the Cities bonus DVD and feeling disappointed.
Just finished watching it and that was great and nostalgic as expected. The vocals early on were a bit rough, but that kind of goes in line with a long time wish of mine that they'd get an additional live member to help Stephen out, like someone that has a vocal range close to him. It often feels like some songs here and there have vocal parts that feel tailored for two people as there's barely any breaks between them, but he decides to do them all by himself... as well as he can. But otherwise, especially from Desires onwards, he crushed it and I didn't have any more complaints.
Yeah, at first Stephen seemed to be having a hard time, but a few songs in he started nailing it pretty consistently. The surprise female vocalist at the end was cool too. Does anyone know who she is?
Listening to As You Found Me and it’s the best Stephen has sounded imo on a livestream recording. To The Wolves is a tough song to sing for him and he even did that well. The first 4 songs sound pitch perfect. Definitely sounds amazing
Watched the Vital livestream today and it was a wonderful experience. Loved the chats they do as they go. They sounded great. Forgot how much I love that album (even though I consider it my favourite) - there are some deep cuts that sounded great live. Bring on Lowborn.
Finally got around to watching the latest stream. Well worth the money and looking forward to adding it to my vinyl collection.
I'm excited to hear what they come up with. On another note, I think the Lowborn livestream is the one I'm most excited for. It's not my favorite album of theirs, but they only played one song off of it live ever so I'm really curious how it will translate.
Ah, I thought it was only We Are Destroyer. I know they didn’t play anything off of Lowborn for like, the first half of their final tour. I guess they’ve barely played any of the songs, and even those three were only for a handful of shows. So I wanna hear what they’re like live. Some of those songs I don’t even know how they’ll pull it off. I think you can definitely tell when listening to Lowborn that they didn’t really intend to play the songs live.
