Voted for Lowborn! I always think DITW would be well suited to these acoustic sets, but then I remember that they think so as well haha. Those songs had a decent presence last livestream and on Williamsburg, would still be cool to see that album live, but for that reason I think New Surrender would've been my second choice.
I voted for Vital but yeah it will definitely be Cities. They should have just not included Cities and NTFP just to see what would win. Lol
Yea, just audio. Released on CD and vinyl a few years back. On their "final" tour, they did two nights in NYC and on one of the nights, they had announced ahead of time they were going to play Cities from start to finish. Then when they finished playing Cities, they said fuck it, you guys want to hear Never Take Friendship too? And played it start to finish. I was ecstatic, I had flown to NYC for these shows so that was a mega bonus for me. I remember there being cameras at the show too, but no idea why the release was audio only.
I think they actually played Readyfuels, and then teased the beginning of Foreign Language to get people to think they were going to play Blueprints... all the way through.
I wonder if they’re gonna do this for all of the albums. Makes sense that they would. Wish I could just get the vinyl, haha.
I’m surprised it won the poll but I’m excited about it. Trying to decide if I want the tank or the tee shirt. I hate my arms but I’m trying to push myself, lol
Vinyl release for a live stream is weird, but I assume it will get mixed and mastered and everything and won’t just be the raw audio we hear during the stream.
From the email they just sent out: 'We Are The Lost Ones’ Vinyl - a fully mixed & mastered recording of the songs from the live stream on June 26th is available now for preorder! Only a limited number of vinyl will be made. Digital download included upon release. The vinyl will not be available for sale after the stream.
Saw this. Pretty sure it's going to turn into a discography series so this purchase was a no-brainer.
I think for a fanbase that enjoys their discography as a whole, I think a series is exactly the right move
If that means we eventually get Lowborn live, I’m all in! Depending on how writing the new album is going, and how often they do these streams, it’d be awesome if they worked all the way through their current discography and then played the new album straight through, too.
